# Where to find your Telnyx API key and public key

> Create a Telnyx V2 API key and find the public key ElasticFunnels uses to check Telnyx webhooks.

The Telnyx integration asks for an **API key** and a **Webhook public key**. Saved keys are stored encrypted
and never shown again.

## API key

**1. Open Keys & Credentials**

Log in to the [Telnyx portal](https://portal.telnyx.com/#/api-keys) and open **Keys & Credentials** →
**API Keys**.

**2. Create a key**

Click **Create API Key** and copy it. It is a V2 key and starts with `KEY`. Telnyx shows it only once.

**3. Paste it in ElasticFunnels**

Paste it into **API key**.

## Webhook public key

On the same **Keys & Credentials** page, open the **Public Key** tab and copy the key (44 characters, ending
in `=`) into **Webhook public key**. Telnyx signs every webhook it sends, and ElasticFunnels checks replies
and delivery reports with this key.
