# Template kit glossary

> The words used on the kit screens and in these docs.

**Apply**: Copying a kit into your project. It runs in the background and is all or nothing: either every part is created, or nothing is.

**Apply run**: One apply of one kit to one project. The **Kit added** panel shows what that run created.

**Component**: A shared piece of page, such as a header, footer, review block or guarantee seal. Kit pages use components by code, so one change updates every page that uses it.

**Draft**: A page that is saved but not published. Every page a kit creates starts as a draft.

**Endpoint**: A kit page that receives a form or survey and has nothing for visitors to see.

**Folder**: The URL folder the kit pages go under. `joint` turns `/vsl` into `/joint/vsl`. Called **Folder (optional)** on the review.

**Free gift**: A bonus product the kit gives away with an order. It has its own name and code like any other product.

**Funnel journey**: The map on the review that shows the path from the landing pages through the checkout, upsells and downsells to the thank-you page.

**Image slot**: One image in a kit: its prompt, aspect ratio, the pages that use it and the pictures it needs.

**Kit**: A complete set of pages, funnel, products, page events, components and images from the template library.

**Layout page**: A page other pages are built on, such as a members area layout. Visitors never open it directly.

**Manifest**: The kit's own list of everything it holds. The review screen is built from it.

**Page event**: A flow that runs on a page, for example setting checkout bumps or sending a visitor to a step. See [Page events](/funnels/page-events).

**Product code**: The short ID a product is known by in buy links (`[BUY=sleep-gummies-1]`), checkouts, funnel steps and page events. Letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only.

**Prompt**: The written description an image was made from. You can copy it, edit it, or make a new image from it.

**Reuse components**: The **Reuse components I already have** switch. On: kit pages use your component when the codes match. Off: the kit adds its own copy under a new code.

**Slug**: The part of a page URL after the domain, such as `/joint/vsl`.

**Template library**: The collection of page templates, checkouts and kits you open from **Pages** > **Create page** > **Choose Template**.

**Use an existing product**: Pointing a kit product at a product your project already sells, instead of creating a new one.

**Variant**: One option of a product, such as 1, 3 or 6 bottles. Kit variants follow their main product.
