They are ordinary pages, filed in a page folder called Courses so they stay out of the way in
your Pages list. Edit them in the page editor like any other page. These three pages are your
default course design: every course without a design of its own uses them.
The course link opens the course page for a signed-in student; the lessons start from there.
If a course says Course pages are not set up yet, click Set up course pages in its
Settings → Student pages. It takes a second.
Where students open the course
The course Overview shows Where students find it: the course’s address on your domain, with Copy link. A published course opens there for enrolled students, and the welcome email links to it. A draft opens only for you, with Preview as student. The address is the project’s course domain and path, then the course’s slug, for examplehttps://yourdomain.com/course/sleep-reset. Lessons open under it at
/course/sleep-reset/module/{module}/lesson/{lesson}. Change the domain and the course slug in
the course’s Settings under Course address.
Customize for this course
Open the course’s Settings → Student pages. A course on the default design shows Using your default course design and the three shared pages, each with Edit page. To give one course its own look, click Customize for this course. ElasticFunnels copies the course page and the lesson player into a new page folder named Course: <course title>, points this course at the copies and opens the editor in a new tab. Changes to the copies affect only this course. The course library stays shared.- Reset to default puts the course back on the shared design. The copies stay in their folder, so you can switch back later.
- Renaming the course renames its folder too.
- If a copy is deleted or taken offline, the course screen shows a warning and students see the default design instead of an error.
- Deleting the course offers Also delete this course’s custom pages, which removes the pages in its own folder. The shared pages are never deleted with a course.
Lesson content on your pages
The lesson editor writes plain HTML that the lesson player styles. If you build your own lesson page, these are the blocks it can contain:
The default lesson player includes styles for all four. A course on your own
pages gets the same styles as a snippet to copy.
